Medical professionals are sounding the alarm on the lack of evidence supporting the case for gender-affirming care.

 

A group of 21 international endocrinology clinicians and researchers from nine countries signed an open letter published yesterday arguing that gender transition medicine for minors has been pushed in the United States for political reasons rather than based on medical evidence.

Medical doctors and researchers from around the world condemned the Endocrine Society’s recent claims that cross-sex medical treatments improve the well-being of youth in an open letter published in The Wall Street Journal Thursday.
