Ten men accused of roles in a gang flooding the UK with amphetamine have been named after dawn raids across Merseyside.
On Thursday doors went in at addresses in Formby, Lydiate, Maghull, Walton, Huyton and Liverpool as part of a joint serious and organised crime operation spanning some eight months.
The raids came after a large amount of chemicals and substances able to produce an estimated 3000+ kilos of amphetamine sulphate was seized last summer when officers raided industrial units based in Aintree and North Wales.
