A tornado outbreak in December picked up and destroyed a large number of mobile homes, raising questions about lax regulations.

Pastor Stephen Strader has been leading online services in recent weeks, and the church has begun holding some meetings at a Spanish-language church.

In less than a week in mid-December, two enormous storm systems plowed through the South, Midwest, and Great Plains, spawning 17 tornadoes and killing almost 100 people between them.

To create a tornado, you need to blend four ingredients. But we’d need to be able to look at the molecular level to see when the start button on the blender is being pushed.

The science suggests that the United States can expect more unusual and severe storms as the world heats up, increasing the urgency for action to protect communities.

Population density and a prevalence of mobile homes make the region a hotspot for tornado deaths

They said the tornado would hit at 9:30. It hit at 9:30

Unlike heat waves and floods, research on climate change and tornadoes is still in its infancy.

One of the world’s leading climate scientists, Michael Mann from Penn State University has said the recent tornadoes were “no natural disaster”. Mann said: “Make no mistake, we have been seeing an increase in these massive tornado outbreaks that can be attributed to the warming of the planet.”
