The Montague Parks and Rec Department is accepting names for the new/prospective swimmers list for the Bluefish Swim Team. Currently, the new swimmer registration is only open to Montague youth. Non-residents may enter their names starting Sept. 21..

For the second year in a row, the Bridge of Flowers 8K Classic has been canceled.
In an email, BOF Race Director Dan Smith said that the decision to cancel the August event was two-fold. Hosting the race, which was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, remains difficult because of the uncertainty surrounding the virus. It also involves additional challenges with a lack of support staff, according to Smith.
