The region the storm is finally out of here. But that doesnt mean the worse is over. With significant snow on the ground in many areas, and with the winds picking up, visibility could become a real issue for drivers out there tonight. Unfortunately, it is not only the issue out there. It is plunging temperatures combined with the biting wind that will have you pulling out some extra cover to stay warm tonight. This is how it was out there earlier in the day for many area roads, slick conditions, and low visibility, cause some drivers to slide all over the road, unfortunately, or fortunately, we should say, there havent been any major accidents to report. And it, a bit of a different scene out there tonight as we take a live look out at the ben franklin bridge. Traffic is moving pretty well. The bridge is wet. Seeing some heavy accumulation it is not boring. You have a little bit of everything. Topping the news is the Pittsburg City Council now taking action to prevent more free way shootings in the east bay. The council planned to approve action to install surveillance cameras on the freeway. Alex savidge joins us with more on the push for the cameras reporter these may be the first cameras installed along the freeway here in the bay area, specifically to deter crime. The plan that they have here is to install as many as 10 surveillance cameras. They will be installed along this particular stretch the highway, about a four mile stretch.
