Ramona s Sammie Sublett signs to play volleyball for University of the Pacific

Print Sammie Sublett, 17, is Player of the Year for the Valley League as a member of the Bulldogs’ varsity volleyball team and has been named First Team All League Player the past two years. Now she’s on her way to play volleyball for University of the Pacific in Stockton with a scholarship. The lifelong Ramona resident readily shares credit for her successes with others. “I just don’t think I could have done it without my teammates and coaches,” said Sammie, who signed her pledge to attend University of the Pacific on April 21. “I’m excited to play the next four years and to get more experience.”
