SIR – In resigning as deputy chairmen of the Conservative Party over Rishi Sunak’s Rwanda Bill (report, telegraph.co.uk, January 16), Lee Anderson and Brendan Clarke-Smith highlighted the obvious: voters have not stopped being Conservative – it is the Conservative Party itself that has done so. SIR – The Houthis attack ships in the Red Sea (“US and UK launch strikes on Houthi rebel bases”, report, January 12). Hezbollah attacks from Lebanon. The Palestinians attack from Gaza. All these acts of war are supported by Iran.
SIR – The main reason for the lack of fresh food in our shops (Letters, February 26) is that the supermarkets are not prepared to pay British farmers a fair price for their produce.
