Professor Christopher Coker is Director of LSE IDEAS, one of the leading academic think-tanks. For many decades he was professor in international relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is one of the best-known theoreticians of war, and his works about the role, transformation and future of war are obligatory reading in this field. His latest book in this field is Why War? (2021). Several of his books have already been translated into Serbian, including The Twilight of the West, Barbarous Philosophers and The Future of War. We discussed some important issues from the international relations that are relevant for the future of mankind. Recently he delivered a lecture at the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade entitled “War on Ukraine and its Global Consequences”, organised by the Foundation BFPE for a Responsible Society, marking its 20th anniversary, and the Centre for British Studies.
