The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Friday that a bridge replacement project on Route 849 (Creek Road) in Perry County is scheduled to begin this week. The bridge spans an unnamed tributary to Buffalo Creek between Milford Road (Route 1009) and Stone Arch Road (Route 4007) in Juniata Township, according to a release.
Weather permitting, work will begin Monday and will be completed by June 28. A detour will be in place starting Monday using Milford Road (Route 1009), Oak Hill Road (Route 1024), Buckwalter Road (Route 1024), and Stone Arch Road (Route 4007), said the release, which continued:

NINEVEH, Ind. – Emergency crews were called to a Johnson County one-vehicle crash on East County Road 775S and Stone Arch Road, between Nineveh and Edinburgh, on Wednesday afternoon.
The Nineveh Township Volunteer Fire Department, Edinburgh Fire and Rescue, and other local law enforcement agencies responded to the accident at around 3 p.m. and found a car that was rolled over on its side. One person was trapped and had to be extricated from the vehicle. First responders had to remove the roof in order to get the individual out of the car.
The name and condition of the victim, who was taken to IU Methodist Health in Indianapolis for treatment via IU Health Lifeline, were not released.
