Radically refreshed Wirral Plan

Wirral Plan 2021-2026, titled Equity for People and Place, was backed by councillors on the authority s policy and resources committee during a meeting this week. Described by an authority spokesperson as radically refreshed it will now presented to full council during a meeting later this year. In October 2019, councillors unanimously backed the Wirral Plan 2025. Because of COVID-19, however, it was agreed a review was in order to ensure the plan can deliver what is needed in radically changed circumstances . The new Plan defines the key priorities for the local authority over the coming years – outlining those tasks which the council will focus on to ensure the people of Wirral receive the services they need and want, based on what people said matters most to them.
