The public that came to speak out on this resolution to support amendments to our california state law around the ellis act. You have told us some very heart felt stories about what we know is going on way too often in our city. We are in the midst of an affordability crisis. We have seen a sky rocketing rate of evictions and i certainly know as tenants i think we all know that this is something we need to address now and we have to do better at it as a city and as a state. As one of the members of the public mentioned, the ellis act was designed to provide some relief to longtime Property Owners that were looking to get out of the business. Mergers are appropriate or not commissioner moore. I like to psyche those people in City Government who are entertaining the issues to look at closely with the department at the section of the code. We have a finite number of land pickup truck once this merger take place and the lots are annoyed the way the floor plan is laid out its not going to be going back to two units unless someone spends a lot of money. Then you have a house in this area that essentially a ann anonymously. And thats what im concerned about. And its different i think from condo mergers weve had the one where they were worthy a couple of Million Dollars that got merged south of market it seems different in this case its on its own piece of land so to speak. Ill vote for the motion but especially the triggering mechanisms it should be examined and look at it as the city is taking on the housing issue. Lastly and were not aware of these but whatever i have confidence that the staff made American People analysis and

Theres a little gadget that actually has, you can actually plug it in, a module and put it in the outlet and literally press a remote to turn on and off your lamps and i actually got it at walgreens and i think its less than 12 dollars so i think little gadgets will make a big difference to be able to you know be more independent and you can actually use Something Like a remote and its Pretty Simple and the second thing id like to add, the programs at irlc, in addition to all the programs that irlc San Francisco offers, is Community Activities and im the coordinator for the program and so i give out flyers on the table announcing events, so besides just the program and as mentioned services that we have, we also have fun activities so if you would like to contact me, please do.
