A variety of summer species have been hitting decks, albie reports are starting to flow in, there's a solid striper bite on the north and south shores, while offshore, big wahoo and tuna action has been great.
Stripers and blues are piled in the L.I. Sound rips, fluke fishing is good in south shore bays, and bluefin of all sizes linger at the mid-shore tuna grounds.
