TORRENTIAL rain and floods brought travel chaos across Carmarthenshire over the weekend forcing homes to be evacuated. The area saw dozens of flood warnings and alerts in place including the River Towy and River Loughor at Ammanford and Llandybie. The Met Office recorded a month’s worth of rain in 24 hours in Carmarthenshire.
