The decision on what changes need to be made to the St. Johns County Schools' dress code within its Student Code of Conduct will no longer have a deadline of June 8.

The new Student Code, approved in Dec. 2020, focuses on making sure that the conduct process is objective, transparent, fair, and that students are an active participant throughout the process.

Parents and students reacted angrily when they discovered that 80 yearbook photos of female students had been altered after the coordinator decided their appearance did not adhere to the school dress code.
