Canadas Student Direct Stream (SDS) will now accept Pearsons PTE Academic test centre scores for all applications. The SDS process allows for an expedited study permit application process for students from select countries applying for Canadian study programs. Before the addition of PTE, only CELPIP and IELTS General Training were accepted as proof of English proficiency by Canada s Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada.
