Former East Londoner Fiona Adams has harnessed the abundant talents of crafters and artists in Rhodes village and its surrounding mountains to form Made in Rhodes, a supportive collective that gives them an outlet and connects them to markets. When Adams and her husband Russell Grinker retired to the north Eastern Cape village of Rhodes to downsize, she opened a small shop selling antiques and collectibles, but soon realised she was in an area rich with talented crafters.
