Americans theyre not going to get an easy answer to this one because its just weird. katy, have a good afternoon. good afternoon to all of you. it was a summit that can be summed up in one word, stunning. a disgrace. those are words, by the way, from president trump from todays summit. it wasnt a characterization against the russian government for interfering in u.s. elections, trumps criticism, a disgrace, was leveled against fbi official peter strzok reiterating again that the mueller invest...

Moment because i think its very clear that donald trump, even private citizen donald trump, would not have been in moscow without russian authorities knowing about that. its clearly nobody prominent in america goes to moscow without them knowing. >> of course. and most importantly, vladimir putin never tells the truth. hes a bald-faced liar. he lies at every opportunity. remember, he said there were no russian troops in crimea and then they were. he said there was no russian rocket that shot dow...

In fact, one of the reasons why putin wants the summit so badly because he wants to try to find a way to cooperate with the united states and show the rest of the world that he and the united states are moving forward. >> theres a tweet from one year ago this month i want to put up from president trump, after he met with putin, not in a summit but in a different event. putin and i discussed forming an inpen trabl cyber security unit so election hacking and many other negative things will be guar...

They are aware that is an illegal act and vying for incumbent for congress they are away of that particular law, trying to be a part of a legislative branch. so there is a violation. im curious as to why mueller has chosen not to name that particular candidate. maybe because it would obviously allow people to insinuate and infer there was absolute evidence beyond a reasonable doubt at some point to connect that person to a crime. and it may just be they dont have enough evidence built up before ...

>> harry, after the indictment was announced today, trumps lawyer rudy guiliani, here is what he tweeted out. the indictment of rod rosenstein announced are good news for all americans, the russians are nailed, and no americans are involved and time for mueller to end this pursuit of the president and say president trump is completely innocent. is that what this indictment means? >> stunning. one more step in the complete demolition of the former reputation of giuliani. first of all, the indictm...

Somebody in the republican party. it was kind of stunning to me as was the congressman, but i guess in this day and age you have to expect everything. >> it seems like in this day and age anybody who seeks the middle ground keeps quiet other leaves congress. >> i think thats true largely in the case of the republicans. thats not to say the democrats on this committee acquitted themselves so well. there was some posturing and theater on the democratic side that was really unpleasant to watch. wha...

Struck. and i was sort of looking all day, and i watched this all day. and i was looking for a republican, one republican to come out and say peter struck what you do was wrong. but we have no proof, as the inspector general had no proof that what you did influenced the russia investigation. we know that mueller took him off the russia investigation. we know they had a short conversation about it. he said maybe 15 minutes. but there was not one republican who would even admit to that being a pos...

And the republicans were saying, look, you were. you were making these decisions. you were deciding that it was more important to go after donald trump and the trump campaign than it was for you to go after hillary clinton. what i found sort of stunning, actually, is when strzok was asked to explain the "well stop" texts, he talked about trumps attacks on a gold-star family and talked about how personally abhorrent he felt that was. so in a way, he gave a little more fuel to the folks who said y...

Pull through this. because they were in it together. so many people weve talked to have said that the fact they were there together this team with this coach will help them in the long run. >> extraordinary. all right, janice, please stay close to us as we hear more developments out of thailand. this is a stunning and at this point it seems almost optimistic story. janice, thank you so much. i appreciate it. now, we have to go to the big announcement here. 12 hours from now, when president trump...

>> we get caught up in the rhetoric. we do it every day. for regular people, they dont have the time. theyre paying mortgages and getting kids to school. theyve seen lower taxes and the economy expand and promises kept and movement in north korea and there are what i call trumped deniers. im going to trademark that. these are people that look at the results and they deny the existence of any positive outcome related to president trump because they hit him so much because of his rhetoric or becau...
