Competing against 107 teams from around the region, Stuttgart’s 2021 senior high trap team finished 29th in this year’s regional standings. The regional tournament was held at the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation Shooting Sports Complex in Jacksonville and Stuttgart competed in the South Region.
The senior high team is comprised of Jaye Longnecker, Luke Longnecker, Jake Hayes, Ross Atkinson, Jack Reinhart, Kennedy Brewer, McClain Derden, and Blakely Stovesand. David Belcher is the team’s head coach with assistance from Josh Hayes.
Stuttgart’s first five shooters shot 209 of 250 targets at the competition. The team averaged 42 out of 50 targets.
