THE quest to identify a mysterious frog first recorded along Old Upper Thomson road three years ago has led to the discovery of a whole new frog species at a Kranji site littered with trash.
SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): Three Singaporeans with a long record of public service have been conferred the Distinguished Service Order, one of the Republic's top national honours, for their contributions to the country over the years.
The greyish-brown frog, which is barely bigger than a marble, was named Subaraj's paddy frog after the late conservationist Subaraj Rajathurai. Read more at straitstimes.com.
