However, just a third of executives who drew eight-digit salaries were under 40 in FY23, reversing the decade-old trend when half the HUL crore club were people under that threshold.

Intense competition for talent from start-ups and direct-to-consumer firms are driving up the need for incentives to retain talent. HUL is known as a CEO factory and is keen to continue differentiating its rewards and careers to maintain and retain its top-tier talent.
