A Stoke-on-Trent builder has been hit with a £968 court bill after throwing a 20-person house party during the coronavirus lockdown. Selfish Joseph Baskeyfield was so drunk he couldn t even remember hosting the bash until he was shown CCTV.
The 32-year-old has now issued a grovelling apology to magistrates after admitting breaching the rules.

The court heard Joseph Baskeyfield initially denied any knowledge of the party before being shown clear CCTV footage as he later issued a grovelling apology to unimpressed magistrates
