A team of vigilant volunteers in the city on Saturday helped save female dog Minnie from the clutches of 65-year-old Baburao More, who has now been booked under section 377 (unnatural offences) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
A ResQ member had noticed the accused’s suspicious behaviour last October and had been keeping an eye on him ever since.
The volunteer had seen More, who worked as a security guard at a nearby building on Senapati Bapat Road, pick up a dog and take it below his building every few days since October 2020. ReQ Charitable Trust’s founder and president Neha Panchamia told
