And the cluster of deaths was avoidable. Five of the babies died simply because their heart rate wasnt being monitored properly during labour. Their deaths have prompted such concern that the Health Secretary, jeremy hunt, has now ordered a review of the shrewsbury and Telford Hospital trust.
