Gov. Brian Kemp has responded to a letter from state Sen. Elena Parent asking the governor and state school superintendent to investigate DeKalb County Schools.
The DeKalb County Board of Education apparently did not comply with sections of the Georgia Open Meetings Act regarding public notice for the April 26 meeting where Superintendent Cheryl Watson-Harris was fired.
