Hundreds packed a special school board meeting in Uvalde Monday night calling for change and accountability in the wake of the Robb Elementary School massacre.

A report released this week said nearly 400 law enforcement officers waited while the shooter was in a classroom full of children.

As more details surface surrounding the events which happened during the mass shootings in Uvalde, Texas, Uvalde school district police Pete Arredondo has been placed on administrative leave. Lieutenant Mike Hernandez will be replacing him, according to a statement by Superintendent Hal Harrell.

The Uvalde school board did not punish the district police chief who refused to send cops into Robb Elementary School while a teenage gunman was shooting kids dead.

Students and staff will not return to Robb Elementary School.
