Ethereum started a sharp downside correction below $1,200. ETH price is down 20%, but is approaching a crucial support at $1,000 and 100 hourly SMA.

Ethereum traded to a new yearly high at $1,280 before correcting lower. ETH price declined over $200, but the bulls were active near the 100 hourly SMA.

It’s a bearish start to the day for the majors. Failure to move back through the early highs would bring support levels into play.
