Microsoft has quietly extended its pledge to offer updated firmware and driver support for its Surface devices released after January 1, 2021, from four years to at least six years.

A new report claims Microsoft plans to concentrate on releasing Surface PCs that don't take as many risks in their design, like the Surface Duo and the Surface Studio all-in-one PC.

Microsoft Surface Duo features two 5.6-inch OLED (1,350x1,800 pixels) displays with a 4:3 aspect ratio that join together to provide an 8.1-inch PixelSense Fusion display with 2,700 x 1,800 pixels resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio.

Microsoft is rolling out the Android 11 update for the Surface Duo. The update was originally meant for 2021 and brings improvements.
