we re seeing flash flooding all across the area. numerous water rescues, and once again, this is a situation that s going to continue to play out over the next couple of hours. probably one of the most dangerous situations that i ve seen in quite some time in regard to flooding roadways. flooding kills more people, inland flooding kills more people than just about any other possible weather scenario. so please, once again, watch out out there. julie carey has been out in this all day long. julie, you ve seen some of this firsthand. reporter: one of the busiest roads in fairfax county, closed down and off limits for hours after the downpour turned a little stream known as daniels run into a raging river. it s unbelievable. i mean, you see cars backed up for it looked like at least a mile, at least. it s just crazy. reporter: four cars that tried to make it through didn t. they were trapped, and the water was still rising. yeah. this is unbelievable. like i said, i work
