PM Modi lays foundation stones of developmental projects worth Rs 7,500 crore in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh. He inaugurates Talavada Project, a drinking water supply scheme for villages in Dhar and Ratlam.
The event, attended by CM Mohan Yadav and his cabinet colleagues, focused on projects that would benefit the region’s considerable tribal population, said PMO.
Following a decision of the Central Government, various state governments in the country have prepared property cards under the Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village.
SVAMITVA Scheme: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, "75 lakh families in the state were given possession of the land where they reside. By December 2023, 1.25 lakh families of Uttar Pradesh will be given ownership rights of leased land under the PM SVAMITVA Yojana."
The SVAMITVA scheme was launched by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj in April 2021, aiming at establishing clear ownership of property in rural areas by mapping land parcels using drone and providing Record of Rights to owners.
