Representatives from over 50 civil society organizations and 18 small parties met in New Delhi to pledge support for opposition candidates in the upcoming state and Lok Sabha polls. The meeting, called Jeetega INDIA: National Convention for Democracy, Secularism and Social Justice, was attended by leaders from various opposition parties.
The Convention also pointwed to the economic recession and increase in unemployment and inflation, alleging that the BJP has in the meantime favoured its corporate “cronies’’ as like Adani.
