(Swatara Twp., PA) Swatara Township police are adding an electric motorcycle to their fleet to curb illegal dirt bikes in their municipality. They are hoping to stop the dirt bikes and A-T-Vs that have been using the greenbelt. Police continue to release photos of those seen on the dirt bikes in the hopes of identifying and charging them.
Mar 1, 2021 Swatara Township Board Continues Fight Against Warehouse Project
(Swatara Twp., PA) The Swatara Township Board of Supervisors are still fighting to stop a warehouse project between Route 322 and Chambers Hill Road. The board filed an appeal after Dauphin County President Judge John Cherry reversed their initial denial of a conditional use application for the group looking to build the warehouses. Together, the proposed warehouses would take up over one-point-two million square feet.

Gas prices in the Harrisburg area are 17.4 cents a gallon higher than a month ago. Prices began to increase as refineries in Texas shut down because of last week s frigid weather there.Mark Graves

Frigid temperatures in Texas last week shut down oil refineries which in turn pushed gas prices higher.
The trend is continuing. The national average price of a gallon of gas increased more than a dime in the last week. The national average today is $2.63 a gallon and higher in the Harrisburg area at $2.84.
