Legal aid lawyer Cara Hill told the court she hasn’t been able to reach Swiftwolfe by phone inside the Saskatchewan Penitentiary. She asked for an adjournment to give her time to talk to him. Some of the other submissions include performances by Warren Daniels of Sturgeon Lake, Sask .; The event runs until 12 p.m. on June 21. Fox was arrested on Dec. 6 after several RCMP detachments teamed up to locate and arrest Jonathan Swiftwolfe, 26. At the time of her arrest last month, Fox was wanted on warrants for assault with a weapon and failure to comply with a release order. Jonathan Swiftwolfe, of Moosomin First Nation, had a bail hearing on Dec. 10 but the hearing was adjourned until Jan. 6, 2021.
