I agree it hasn’t. They’ve said from the start they make a small profit on each unit sold (think it was around $17 for base Switch at launch, iirc.) At the same time I don’t think they’re raking in money hand over fist on these newer consoles they’re selling either. At least, not in the US (their largest market). It’s only $50 more here. There are also hidden costs such as storing additional inventory of new parts, shipping, additional labor to manufacture, the R&D to design it, etc...
