GMA Regional TV (RTV) takes pride in staying true to its “Local News Matters” campaign. With stations strategically located in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, the regional arm of GMA Network consistently enables viewers to access local news in various communities outside Metro Manila.
Its unparalleled commitment to producing local news programs and specials that are more attuned to stories, voices, and viewership in the regions has earned the trust of Filipino viewers all over the country. In 2020, GMA RTV’s regional morning shows and local newscasts tallied a combined reach of about 64 percent of all TV households throughout the country, with an estimated total of 46.8 million viewers, based on Nielsen Phils. GMA Regional TV (RTV), in partnership with Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Inc. and the Iloilo City Government, is set to air the Dinagyang Digital 2021 this January 24 via GMA TV 6 Iloilo and simulcast on GMA TV 6 Guimaras, GMA TV 5 Roxas, GMA TV 2 Kalibo, and GMA TV 7 Tablas.

Amid the pandemic and several typhoons, GMA Regional TV’s (RTV) Kapuso Barangayan on Wheels has been steadfast on its mission to help the Kapuso in the regions.
To date, the campaign has been able to reach 6,830 families since it was rolled out last May, with GMA RTV teams providing beneficiaries affected by the pandemic and calamities with food packs and other essential items.
For its first and second legs, the Kapuso Barangayan on Wheels through GMA RTV North Central Luzon, was able to provide food packs to 1,280 families in various barangays in Dagupan, Pangasinan.
In Iloilo, 1,780 families were able to enjoy their breakfast meals delivered to them by GMA RTV Western Visayas. The Kapuso Barangayan on Wheels also gave out locally produced vegetables to 1,610 families in Cebu via GMA RTV Central and Eastern Visayas.
