The Democratic candidates in New Yorks 22nd Congressional District introduce themselves and their legislative priorities.

Syracuse Common councilors continue to postpone voting on an agreement with Syracuse University to maintain a portion of neighboring Thornden Park. The matter was first presented in early October, and has generated concerns among neighboring residents.

Ben Walsh, Khalid Bey and Janet Burman attended the three-hour debate held by Syracuse University. The three fielded questions relating to policing, New York State's upcoming gubernatorial election and affordable housing.

Incumbent Mayor Ben Walsh faces a Democratic and Republican opponent.

Democratic mayoral candidate Khalid Bey announced endorsements from five of his Common Council colleagues after his independent opponent has racked up other support from the left.
