BOULDER -- A year after a gunman entered Boulder’s south-end King Soopers and killed 10 people, the day has burrowed irreversibly into people’s memories.

The case against the man accused of shooting 10 people at a Boulder King Soopers on March 22, 2021 is on hold for now due to concerns about his competency.

Maggie Montoya was working inside the Table Mesa store on March 22 2021 when a gunman opened fire killing 10 people in a mass shooting.

The King Soopers store in Table Mesa is closed Tuesday, one year after the shooting that killed 10 people last year.

All King Soopers locations in Colorado will hold a moment of silence today in memory of the Table Mesa shooting that took the lives of 10 people a year ago today.
