Last season, Zach Haber of Durango High School was named the offensive player of the year in the 3A Southern 1 League after running for 1,358 yards and scoring 20 touchdowns.
Haber ran for another 979.
The Durango High School football team proved why it’s ranked No. 2 in Class 3A on Friday. The Demons welcomed No. 7 Summit and its 5-0 record to town for its homecoming contest and dominated all phase.

A day after getting just one hit against the Fruita Monument Wildcats in an 11-0 loss, the Durango High School baseball team picked up its play Saturday in the rematch at DHS. Trailing 11-4 in the top.
