TAK: About 12,000 Myanmar refugees left this border province for their homeland in Myawaddy this week after they had taken shelter on the Thai soil over the past week, according to the Thai army.

TAK: Local authorities have been visiting displaced people sheltering close to the border to follow up on efforts to manage refugees after clashes between ethnic groups and the Myanmar military flared up last week.

The Royal Thai Army (RTA) said 3,103 Myanmar evacuees on the border of Tak province returned to their home country on Tuesday.
