The President of League of Confederations and Forum of Mobile Advert Practitioners of Nigeria, Otunba Mike Eboziegbe, has refuted media reports that he was arrested by the police for extorting motorists.
National Task Force Commander of Joint Mobile Sanitation Agency of Nigeria, JOMSAN, was reported to have allegedly told journalists that Otunba Mike was arrested by men of the Inspector General of Police’s team, following a petition against him and his team by JOMSAN.
However, in a swift reaction, Otunba Mike, while addressing journalists in Lagos, on Monday, denied being arrested by the police.
He stated that his association had, in June 2020, written a petition to the Inspector General of Police intimating him of the alleged illegal activities of ALGON/NULGE Task Force in Oshodi/Isolo Local Government Council, Lagos.
A 1985 story in The Daily Progress helped lead Kostas Alibertis to turn his dedication to caring for others down a path to benefit the whole community.
While attending the University of Virginia, Alibertis took an EMT course for general knowledge. A 1985 Progress story said the Western Albemarle Rescue Squad was looking for more help over the summer, and he decided to volunteer.
âI came out here and embraced it, and it became a passion and a love,â he said. âDoing community service is certainly something that is part of who I am as a person.â
Alibertis is on his second, now 20-year long, stint as chief of the rescue squad, one of the few all-volunteer fire or rescue stations left in Albemarle County.

a starting point on all these so-called war criminals. we call them persons indicted for war crimes. abbreviated pifwc, which of course, the troops immediately begin to say pifwics. the number one cia guy in bosnia was routinely digging up great intelligence, running sources very specifically against certain pifwics so the cia in concert with forces in the ground would then build the intelligence picture. my role was as a task force commander to command the recognizance and surveillance forces that looked for and identified these war criminals. our job was to blend in with the environment and we lived out in the communities and start setting up a pattern of life on all these war criminals.
