Islamabad : Federal Minister for Science & Technology Shibli Faraz has said that the government was well aware that the long-term growth of the country depends on the successful development of national systems of innovation and a mature knowledge economy based on a favourable economic and institutional regime, high-quality human resource development, multi-type innovation-driven by science and technology, and promotion and utilisation of advanced information and communications technologies.
He expressed these views at an international webinar on the “Role of S&T Universities in Promoting National High-Tech Growth” at NUST.

No doubt education is very important subject and basic need of every citizen of the country, but, unfortunately, since the last few years, this important subject has not been of priority among the concerned authorities.
