After becoming a dominant force in the electric vehicle space, Tata group is all set to take over the semiconductor industry.

The Tata Group, according to a report, was in talks to buy Wistrons only manufacturing facility in India for up to Rs. 5,000 crore.

Tata is also in talks to buy Taipei's Wistron Corp, which is one of the top manufacturing companies of iPhones in India. The deal can be sealed for up to Rs. 5,000 crore.
