RECENTLY, when manhole covers were removed a sea of assorted rubbish was found inside the drain below Jalan Chong Thien Vun in Tawau.
Only then did the relevant department spring into action to clear the massive rubbish. It could not have accumulated there overnight, going by the 3-tonne lorry that had to be mobilised to collect the garbage in two trips
