we begin with brand-new video from the pentagon, showing the moment a russian fighter jet collided with a u.s. drone over international waters. the stunning footage shows the jet approaching the drone, dumping fuel as it gets closer. then striking the drone s propeller before it plunged into the water. the defense department also released these images, one first showing the propeller attacked, a second photo showing the damaged propeller. the kremlin had said the u.s. downed the drone. well, we know that s not true. the video clearly is a receipt for why that didn t happen. almost immediately following the crash, russia sent ships to search for debris. we don t have warships there anymore. biden took them out. our top military brass is doubtful they will find anything, recovering usable intelligence, because that part of the black sea is some 5,000 feet deep. still the incident is very troubling. here s general mark milley, chairman of the joint chiefs of staff. so so was
oh, they are. kennedy, what s so tragic about what david outlined, how fast it fell. we have family in that area. my dog is operating his farm. your family is working. they don t have time to run for elected office on their own. they hope that the tax dollars will result in an accurate,ed adequate, commensurate investment into safety, allowing them to operate their businesses, but the reality is it s not. no. safety and function. you know, that s the problem, because as the tax base leaves, you ve got 2700 businesses that have petitioned for different zip codes with the post office, that s how they know the businesses are leaving, but multnomah county, they re moving out of portland, because it s not safe. they always thought there would be small businesses, keeping the economy afloat, keeping portland weird, but that s not the case.
potentially. what happens is gavin newsom knows this is the beginning of a downward spiral, a financial death spiral for any city and state if the businesses leave, your tax base leaves, even your more wealthy taxpayers will leave. then, lower income californians are left behind and you can t recover from that. to greg s point, i think the only thing that triggered gavin newsom going down there was his gucci slippers got lost in transit. [laughter] , or something he ordered got stolen. [laughter] jesse: it was supposed to be here by now. dagen: they only start caring when it happens to them. gillian: great point. dagen: it s greg s point, i stole it.
skyrocketing crime. new york city regained fewer than 6 out of 10 jobs they lost during the pandemic for the nation as a whole has regained more than 9 out of 10. i say that is because of crime. people will not get on subways and commute to work. the very people who need protection. and this is the making of that sock hole, that financial cycle that cities cannot get out of once your tax base leaves and once you have really high unemployment. michael, the former mayor of philadelphia, he came out so strongly against wet larry krasner s head and that s what made the difference that made krasner finally apologized. with krasner, it is the most homicides, well over 500, philadelphia history. in the history of the city of brotherly love. it is extraordinary. virtually all african american men. it is horrifying. krasner made one of his announcements, it was when they found four people in southwest philly shot execution-style in
