Four CHS Students Earn Welding Certifications
Four Cambridge High School students recently completed the welding program at Belmont College and earned their welding certification.
Graduated senior Evan Huff and juniors Zac Black, Jackson Froehlich, and Tayleigh Capuano earned their certifications and are eligible to work as welding fabricators.
For the juniors, they can start working as welders as a summer job or parttime while they complete their senior year and have the option to take welding II at Belmont this coming school year, which Black and Capuano plan to do.
“I’m so proud of these students for taking this step toward their futures,” Cambridge High School Career Navigator Lovel Quinn said. “Sometimes it’s hard for students to get out of their comfort zone and go into something when you don’t know the other students, but this is such a phenomenal opportunity.”
