C. Over memorial day weekend. They come from across the country, veterans of war, family and friends, all here for the 29th rolling thunder. [bell tolls] roz at the national all cathedral, the mourning bell sounds, honoring missing and lost veterans. And the blessing of the bikes kicks off the threeday event. The camaraderie this weekend helps heal some old wounds. Its a hard time, but we come down and talk reminder that some are still struggling. Im dealing with ptsd myself. First tonight, that developing story at the georgetown waterfront. A suspect arrested after apparently firing several shots on k street. An officer on patrol said he heard the shots go off and saw a man running down the street. Nearby witnesses told the officer he had a gun. Police caught him. No one was injured and the Investigation Continues tonight. More violence on memorial day weekend outside of the Anacostia Metro station. Somebody shot a teenager at the entrance to the station. We know a person was taken in to custody near the scene. As not clear if the person was connected to the shooting.
