Google has brought another feature from Android and Chrome OS to Wear OS. According to a new support document, Googles smartwatch OS now supports Fast Pair, presumably to make upcoming flagship smartwatches compatible with one of the Pixel Buds Pros major features.

Qualcomm has now revealed the date of its next Snapdragon Tech Summit. If previous years are any indication, this event will likely see the global debut of the companys next-gen flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

According to reports, Samsung plans to continue with the Bespoke Edition programme for the Galaxy Z Flip4 series. Allegedly, Samsung will also offer several colour combinations, plus four standard colours.

The Nothing Phone (1) may be billed as a gamechanger, but an early Geekbench listing suggests that Nothings claims are wide of the mark. Unfortunately for Nothing, the Phone (1) is more of the same old same old, the antithesis of the companys aims for the device. Worse still, Nothing has taken a leaf out of OnePlus book with the way in which it will sell the Phone (1).

Ahead of its July 5 global debut, new leaks have now revealed details of the Asus ROG Phone 6, including major specifications and expected pricing of the gaming phone in Europe. The ROG Phone 6 will debut with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and could be the first phone to do so.

Qualcomm recently launched the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 as a mid-cycle refresh of the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Not one to be left behind, rivals MediaTek have now replied in kind, with the announcement of the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+.

Launch details of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra have now been revealed in a new leak from Chinese sources, with the flagship phone said to be the first to bear Qualcomms new Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 flagship chipset. Sadly, though, it appears the Coke-style Leica logo will be a miss.

Xiaomi has unveiled the Smart Band 7 globally, with sales to start in Europe first. Launching for €59.99, the Smart Band 7 is significantly more expensive than its predecessor. Xiaomi has equipped the Smart Band 7 with a larger display than the Mi Smart Band 6 though, among other changes. Xiaomi has decided against releasing the Smart Band 7 with NFC outside China yet, for some reason.

Samsung has presented the ViewFinity S8 series in two sizes. To be available later this month, the S27B800PXE and S32B800PXE offer 4K native resolutions with up to 600 nits of peak brightness. Both monitors have numerous ports too, including a USB Type-C connection capable of recharging devices at up to 90 W.
