Eight resolutions passed

The Association of Yukon Communities held it's annual general meeting in Watson Lake over the weekend. Over 120 people were in attendance from all levels of First Nation, territorial, and municipal governments. All of the eight resolutions tabled were passed. Resolutions were focused on ensuring Yukon communities and residents have equal rights, and better access to government funding and services.

A debate unfurled at Whitehorse's city hall about the cost of powering food trucks at the city's proposed town square this summer. The cost for converting electricity the trucks can use is pegged at $10,000.
