I’m thinking about Thanksgiving and wondering how to prepare the right amount of food so we have a small amount of leftovers but don’t go overboard.

Why don't Boulder County's recycling guidelines mention the numbers inside plastic recycling symbols? I can't find reference to numbers on plastics.

I already have too many dried leaves to mix into my backyard compost pile. I’m not subscribed to Longmont’s curbside compost program, so what should I do with fall leaves I can’t use?

Why should I switch to reusable water bottles if I recycle plastic water bottles that are turned into new bottles?

I know we aren’t allowed to put compostable plastic cups in the compost anymore, but can we put them in the recycling now?
