Driver Braxten Boyd, trainer Tee Wine and owners Jemaxpo Racing Stable LLC won two of the three $15,500 claiming handicap trotting features on Tuesday afternoon at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania, as the smoke from the Canadian wildfires reached as far down as the Keystone State and made for hazy viewing.

Prairie Panther, handled by Hall of Fame driver Wally Hennessey, proved his 1:50.1 win in last week's Open Pace at Pompano Park was no fluke as the outstanding eight-year-old gelded son of Royel Millennium hit the wire on top in identical time in the track's top pace on Sunday night (Jan. 16).

Sea Shadows, confidently handled by Wally Hennessey, used a :26.4 sprint home to capture Pompano Park's $14,200 Open I Pace for mares on Wednesday night (Jan. 12), stopping the timer in 1:52.2.

Timon AS, driven by Peter Wrenn, took top honours in Pompano Park's $14,200 Open Handicap Trot on Monday night (Jan. 3), defeating arch-rivals Toys For You (Rick Plano) and Max (David Miller) in 1:54.1.

Actor Hanover, who played "second fiddle" to both Maxdaddy Blue Chip and My House during his last three starts in Pompano Park's Open Handicap Pace, finally forged his way to the "leading" role on Sunday (Dec. 12) and won the $14,200 feature event.

Best In Show, the 2019 Meadowlands Pace winner, certainly showed he is ready to go for his five-year-old campaign, roaring to a 1:52.3 victory in a Wednesday morning (April 21) qualifier at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono. The royally-bred Best In Show (by Bettors Delight out of the $2.4M-winning world champion Put On A Show) was sent right to the top by driver Scott Zeron and made short work of his field, coming home in :26.3 to win by 17 lengths.
