16-year-old boy dies after daytime shooting in southeast Houston, police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) An investigation is underway after a 16-year-old boy died in a daytime shooting in southeast Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting happened at 4840 Jarmese St. near the South Loop and Cullen Boulevard at around 1:30 p.m. on Monday. The teen was rushed to the hospital where he later died.

16-year-old dies after shooting in Cypress, deputies say

CYPRESS, Texas (KTRK) An investigation is underway in the shooting death of a 16-year-old in the Cypress area.
The shooting happened Friday at around 12:15 p.m. in the 20200 block of Baron Brook Drive, according to the Harris County Sheriff s Office.
Public information officer for the Harris County Sheriff s Office, Thomas Gilliland, said constables were called to the scene after a 16-year-old was shot in front of the residence. EMS was also called to the scene, and the teen was treated for a gunshot wound to the chest.
Gilliland said the teen was taken to the Houston Methodist in Katy where he later died.
